There’s something magical about a child choosing a book—the quiet excitement, the curiosity, the beginning of a new adventure. At Literacy Now Burnaby, we see these moments every time we host a free book event in our community. And now, we’re inviting you to help create even more of those moments with your book’s donations. Participate and share the joy of reading by donating a book today!
Literacy Now Burnaby is dedicated to supporting youth literacy and helping families access books and learning opportunities. Through our community events, we provide free books to families across Burnaby—making reading more accessible, inclusive, and joyful.
At each event, children, and adults alike, eagerly explore the book tables—some children discovering their very first book to call their own. These small moments create lasting connections with reading, learning, and imagination.
